A documentary film in which a 17 year old African-American male encounters prominent Black male icons (‘A’ Gamers) from diverse fields in a hip, computer-generated video game-style world.

To engage a target audience of youth ages 14+, especially Black males most at-risk for dropping of high school, with compelling messages about education and success strategies. Interviewees or ‘A’ Gamers share personal journeys of success as well as setbacks, and insights they have gleaned in bringing their ‘A’ game to their respective fields of endeavour. Bring Your ‘A’ Game will underscore that graduating from high school and educational achievement are essential for young people to achieve their goals in life.

Interviewees include such Black male icons as Richard “Dick” Parsons, Chris Rock, Spike Lee, Dr. Cornel West, Ice Cube, Newark, New Jersey Mayor Cory Booker, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Russell Simmons, Kevin Liles, Lou Gossett Jr., Lupe Fiasco, Hill Harper, Damon Dash, Kevin Powell, Melvin Van Peebles, Geoffrey Canada, Bruce Gordon and former NBA star Alan Houston, among others.
