This Film Is Not Yet Rated follows a female private investigator as she goes undercover to gains access to this secret rating system, and what she discovers compels the MPAA to alter their long overdue ratings system.
As it turns out, this controversial documentary isn’t rated. When it was submitted to the Motion Picture Association of America, it was slapped it with an NC-17. This is fitting since the private investigator revealed the inner workings of a secretive organization that wields great power over the movies the public gets to see.
