The Age of Stupid


The year is 2055 and the earth is ravaged by catastrophic climate change. London is flooded, Sydney is in flames, Las Vegas is has been swallowed up by desert, the Amazon rainforest no longer exists, snow from the Alps has melted, and nuclear war has laid waste to India.

An unnamed archivist is entrusted with the safekeeping of humanity’s art and knowledge. He is alone and living off the coast of the ice-free Arctic, looking back at archive footage from 2007, everyone is talking about the effects of global warming, but no one bothers to take action to reverse the troubling trend, he asks himself: Why did’t we stop climate change when we had a chance?
