Living with Michael Jackson takes us deep inside the somewhat disturbing private life of pop-singer Michael Jackson. Shot over eight months, this documentary offers rare interviews conducted by British journalist Martin Bashir in 2003.
This film starts at the Neverland Ranch, where they tour Jackson’s estate’s grounds and face off in a race car match before discussing how Jackson writes lyrics to his songs. He explains he doesn’t need to write any of the music because the music “will write itself.” And when requested by Bashir, Jackson shows him that when he dances, he becomes the physical form of the music.
Jackson also comments in the interview that his house’s theme of Peter Pan inspires him so much because he feels like he is Pan.
