Marilyn Monroe – The Final Days
A documentary chronicling Marilyn Monroe’s final film Something’s Got to Give and the story behind the why film production was shut down.
Taking us beyond Monroe’s health problems, The Final Days examines the financial pressure her studio was facing including the growing frustration of the romantic comedy’s director George Cukor and co-star Dean Martin due to Monroe’s absences driving the movie over budget.
The centerpiece of the film is the reconstructed video footage completed for the feature that was reshot as a vehicle for Doris Day and James Garner, Move Over, Darling.
