This doc follows the troubled story of Australian Rules Footballer Ben Cousins. Filmed over two years, the documentary details Cousin’s rise to fame as the West Coast Eagles FC captain to his drug-fueled controversial life. After numerous drug-related scandals, the AFL superstar was eventually sacked by West Coast and banned from playing for 12 months.
Produced by Cousin’s himself, the film aims to shed light on his personal struggle with drug abuse. Using many interviews and personal video, we hear from Cousin’s family, friends, and the media who describe the AFL players downward spiral.
