Over the years there have been many documentary titles released about rap superstar Tupac Shakur, but what makes Tupac Resurrection unique is it’s the only movie to be executive produced by his mother and former Black Panther Afeni Shakur.

With access to the MTV archives, the film uses original voice-overs, interviews, and vocal tracks to tell the complete story of Tupac’s life and music, including the fatal gunshot wounds that ultimately killed him.

The movie showcases rare footage, home movies, private photographs, excerpts from his personal poetry, journals, and letters.

During the making of the documentary, MTV reached out to his fan base by requesting submissions of Tupac memorabilia to be used in the video.

    1. It’s a documentary of this man telling his own story with his actual voice & interviews. Notorious was a true story with actors, Tupac Resurrection was 100% real with real pictures & real footage. Understand the difference.

    2. You don’t know the difference between a documentary and a movie because this video in question clearly isn’t a movie….its a documentary so I suggest that you get your facts right before you start criticising and comparing videos of a different type..In short, shut your mouth u dumbass…. U might as well compare a cartoon series to a soap…thats if you know what those are you dumbass….Rant over.

    3. your mums gay, christopher wallace is a fuking sellout and tupac will always shit on him ANYDAY.
from back then till now !! pac for life brah

  1. There will NEVER again be a pair of notorious rappers that not only elevated one another, but the way we look at music & life today. No one will ever have the privilege to say they stepped in the lanes of PAC & BIG. It’s tragic ta see one-vision minded individuals bring either one of these dudes down. It’ll always be something tho. Can’t ever move a step forward. Instead, we move 5 back by perpetuating drama.
